              Event Description:

              Master gardener training starts March 26.

              AgriLife Extension Service’s 2026 master gardener training and internship for Erath County is scheduled for March 26 through mid-May. Extension specialists, county extension agents, and horticultural professionals will provide more than 50 hours of instruction covering Earth-Kind® landscaping, plant pathology, water and soil types, entomology, rainwater harvesting, and growing, vegetables, flowers, shrubs, trees, and more. Upon completing the training and internship volunteer hours, you become a certified master gardener.

              When:
              March 26 through mid-May – 9 am to 4 pm (working through lunch)

              Where:
              The first class will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm with a work-through lunch (brown bag lunch), at the Erath County Courthouse, AgriLife Extension Conference room/second floor (100 W. Washington, Stephenville, TX).

              The registration deadline is Monday, March 23 at 5 pm.
